Whether you’re an avid runner or simply looking for a fun morning outdoors, this event offers something for everyone!
History of the Event
The race was originally created to spotlight the historic walking bridge in Montezuma and to provide a collaborative opportunity for the Vermillion Trails Alliance (VTA) and Parke Trails Alliance (PTA). With the route starting in Parke County and crossing into Vermillion County, it’s a perfect symbol of connection.

We’re transforming the event into a “Morningfest,” designed to draw families and community members of all ages. Expect:
Bounce houses, foam parties, and bubble vendors for kids and the young at heart.
Live music (pending confirmation) to energize the day.
A farmers market and food trucks to satisfy your cravings.
A potential school contest to encourage local youth participation.
We’re creating an unforgettable community experience that combines fitness, fun, and fellowship.
