Upcoming Projects

2023 is set to be an impactful year for the Vermillion Trails Alliance. We have listed our priorities below for Trail Head Park, and some we will need volunteers for. Dates for volunteer opportunities will be released soon. If you would like to be notified please complete our volunteer form below. 

Prioritization of items to be accomplished at Trailhead Park and Trail in 2023:

1. Work with North Vermillion High School and White Construction to complete the Nature Scape Playground

2. Finish clearing creek area, burn brush, prep the prairie grass area

3. Continue clearing the railbed trail

4. Compact the wooded trail for volunteers at the Park Vermillion Humane Shelter to walk dogs

5. Investigate erosion control

Work at the B & O Trail in Hillsdale will be continuing now that we can get back out there.
